My friend Frankie Guerrieri wrote this. He and his friend Maco Monthervil performed this song/video and posted it to Youtube last month.
Awesome right?
It reminds me of the verse that first inspired The Kingdom Journal.
“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.” -Matthew 6.34
It felt so fitting to share it with you all here and remind you that you can experience the joy of the Lord daily.
Not worrying about the things you’ve let own your thoughts.
Not losing any more sleep over situations you can’t control,
pain you’ve suffered,
things you fear,
regrets you have,
mistakes you’ve made…
give it over to the Lord and live in that victory, taking each step where He leads
even if it’s different then what you planned.
I’ve been listening to Frankie’s music for a few years and though it has progressed beautifully over time, one thing that has never changed is the way I feel when I listen to it. It’s joyful, intricate and completely unique.
I had not heard of Maco until I stumbled upon this video on Frankie’s page, but have since enjoyed his Youtube channel. I think the world needs more people like these guys. I hope it inspires you as much as it does me.
Inspiring us to live purposefully each and every day, knowing that God’s plan will always be in line with His promises.
Have hope knowing that He is enough and that because of that, you don’t have to worry about tomorrow.
