Creative Challenge #8 - Denim Designs or (Perhaps More Accurately, Failure to Future).
I spent a lot of today helping with the re-branding process for a client; a fashion company that just started selling internationally. My job with them has been to write the content for their new website. It’s been a lot of fun because they’re in the process of re-branding and are really open to collaboration. It’s been one of the most creatively challenging jobs I’ve gotten to work on in a while and it still hasn’t really sunk in what a beautiful opportunity this is. I couldn’t be happier!
It’s been a while since I’ve done anything with this industry, I didn’t expect to line up with it again any time soon but they hired me on because of my knowledge in the industry… isn’t that interesting? Something I could have just as easily classified as a failure from my past (or even just a childish hobby) turned into an opportunity to do something great.
I know this is more like a slice of a testimony and less like a creative challenge update but I’m really excited because it has shown me that God really does use all things together for good (Romans 8.28), even the things we may never think about… even the things we may have tried to forget or give up on.
I’m really excited about it and even though it’s a pretty massive project, the workday really flew by (though I credit that majorly to the morning at bible study as well as the great time with Carlie and Audra)! God is so good.
